We installed one of your cork floors about 3 months ago, and I wanted to tell you how well it turned out. We laid the floor in a checkerboard pattern on the diagonal, and it is consistently singled out for compliments.

My flooring order

I just wanted to e-mail you and tell you how happy I have been with your professionalism and courtesy. My samples came when you said they would, my flooring came when your said it would, my e-mail questions were answered, you and your staff were knowledgeable and polite. I haven't opened the pallet yet - waiting for my contractor, but given the level of service I've experienced I don't anticipate a problem and I know if there are questions there is someone who will answer them. This has been one of the few good experiences I have had when dealing with sales representatives, whether in store or online. Keep up the great work. Beautiful Installation!

I am a design professional with a focus on residential architectural restorations. Duro Design referred a prefered installer to install natural cork flooring in a 1963 Pierre Koenig designed home in Pacific Palisades Ca. Mark assisted with all aspects of the specification from subfloor to fasteners to finish. Both Mark and Roy flew in from Michigan to do the installation and finish work. While I am extremely demanding with regard to workmanship and details, at no time during the five day process was I concerned about finial results, which were beautiful.

I just love this floor...

I have to say I just love this floor. It looks great all the time and is so easy to take care of: just keep it dusted and you just mop it and you're done. No scrubbing or worrying about it looking dirty because it hides it so well and it always looks good. This company and the people that work there are so accommodating and it doesn't matter how much your buying either. I know i just needed 200 of them and I was treated like i was buying a million of them. It was so nice for a change to be appreciated for just buying the product and not how much you bought or could afford… Another thing is when you purchase the product from them you get everything that you need which is really nice too. The only thing you need to buy if you do need it is self lever which is good to know. You get the glue to install it and the sealer at the end along with an applicator which is really great… So the price they give you is for everything that you need including the shipping. It's a win win situation and if you are considering buying a cork floor then these people are who you want to buy it from !!

Great product!

We purchased DuroDesign cork flooring tiles for our living room, bedrooms, and hallways. The floors are as beautiful today as when we installed them in 2016. The cork is warm and comfortable. It was a perfect choice for our mid-century home. We did the installation DIY. My husband is a contractor, but this isn't rocket science. (Much more fool-proof than hardwood install and staining!) DuroDesign staff have always been very friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable.

Retro cork floor

We first ordered this three-color retro appearance in 2009, and it has been providing us with a pleasant vintage appeal, easy maintenance, and durability for 13 years—during which time a pipe burst, a flood ruined a piece of the floor, and the ceiling was destroyed. We can employ Luisa at Duro Design's touch-ups to restore the floor to its former splendour with her assistance.

Hotel Remodel

Durable cork

We placed our first order in 2009 for this three color retro look that has served us with a warm vintage look and easy care and durability for 13 years when a pipe burst and a flood took out a ceiling and damaged a portion of the floor. With the help of Luisa at Duro Design we are able to use their touch ups and get the floor back to it’s original beauty.

I first ordered cork flooring from DuroDesign in 2007 for use in our master bathroom. The floor has withstood the test of time beautifully. The product color (cherry) remains consistent and it still feels great underfoot. We live in the Northeast, and the cork floor acts like an insulator on those cold cold winter mornings and doesn't get too hot on those hot hot summer days. The customer service and sales team at DuroDesign was a pleasure to work with fifteen years ago and they are a pleasure to work with today. We are now embarking on a new bathroom project and of course will use Duro-Design 8mm cork tiles for the floor. I submitted a request for samples on a Saturday morning and heard back from Luisa within a matter of hours. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and very customer centric.
